Tamaranean vocabulary

From time to time, Blackfire might use strange words when she's using obscenities or if she can't think of the English equivalent. So for quick reference, here's a guide:



Canon Tamaranean words

Bumgorf: A protegee or pupil, usually in need of a parent or guardian (k'norfka).
K'Norfka: A legal guardian of a bumgorf.
Troq: A disparaging term meaning 'nothing,' as in being worthless/insignificant directed at Tamaraneans.
G'luthnog: The Tamaranean equivalent for 'Gesundheit' or 'bless you'.
Grebnacks: Tamaranean term for an unspecified body part, possibly the buttocks or breasts.
Zarbnoff: Pain in the ass (used in the context of "you are behaving like a royal zarbnoff!"
Zorrgnarg: Jerk
Rutha: weak, or weakness. (The closest Tamaranean equivalent to "nice")
Clorbag Valblernek: A harsh insult, likely the equivalent to asshole or douchebag (used in the context of yelling at someone who's played a mean prank)
Grimplork: derisive term for a female, presumably in terms of relationship (i.e. a romantic rival).
Milnip Wusserloop: It is not stated if it is something good or bad; implied to mean a person who acts like a bit of an idiot without malicious intent.
Grubfars: Type of Tamaranean currency. Instead of the term,"A penny for your thoughts" Starfire says, "For your thoughts I will pay six Grubfars."
Glubnorb: A deriding word likely either meaning liar or malicious.
